The Salvation Army collects donations like money, clothes, and shoes. The smallest bit can go a long way!

To kick off the new year, NHS is donating to the Salvation Army of Washington. They are mainly collecting winter items such as gloves, hats, scarves and socks. On top of this, they are also collecting new children’s shoes, which are items that the Salvation Army is greatly in need of.

All donations are accepted by Mrs. Rush, in room 224, and need to be turned in by January 29. As stated in previous articles, Rush will quarantine these items for three days before giving them to the shelter.

Students who are cyber can drop the donations off in the welcome center. Rush requests that cyber students put her room number, 224, on their box of donations before dropping them off.

Remember, even just a little bit can go a long way.
