For the month of October during the 2020-2021 school year, the National Honor Society is collecting donations for the Domestic Violence Shelter here in Washington.

Donations such as shampoo, toothbrushes and toothpaste will be accepted by this organization. For those not in NHS, this can count towards community service hours as a part of graduation requirements.

Donations can be given to the lead advisor, Mrs. Rush, in room 224. Just like last month, items will be quarantined for three days to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Remember, the tiniest things are appreciated and could help someone tremendously.

Stay tuned for November’s NHS donation which is still to be determined!
