The National Honor Society is a group of juniors and seniors who have excelled as students, citizens, and leaders throughout their freshman and sophomore years. During the 2020-2021 school year, the NHS will be holding different drives every month throughout the school year. During September of 2020, students will be donating to the Greater Washington Food Bank.

Lead NHS advisor, Mrs. Rush, stated NHS students are mainly involved with this drive, but if any other student wants to be involved and donate food to get hours needed for graduation, they can. All that Rush requests is that all donations are non perishable food items brought to her classroom, room 224. After students bring items in she’ll quarantine them for at least three days to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Stay tuned for October’s donation to the Domestic Violence Shelter!
