Junior Easton Morris prepares to make a put. Trinity students can come out to support golf players, such as Morris, throughout the month of October.

Trinity golf is a fun and much-loved sport by all its athletes. So far this year the Varsity golf team has played a total of eight matches. Their season runs from August 14 until the end of October.
There are a total of eight players on the golf team. The captains of the golf team are Seniors, Colton Deems and Turner Shrontz. These two boys have not only led their team to multiple victories, but also guided their teammates with technique advice or just lifting them up.
Junior Danny Towers says, “The captains have been very helpful in getting me out of my slumps and motivating me before games.”
The seniors on the team are Deems, Shrontz and Alexandra Koffler. The coaches are Mr. Angelo Marino and Mr. Mike Marino. They coach both junior varsity and varsity golf for Trinity.
Junior Easton Morris states, “Our coaches do a really good job with keeping the players out of their heads and uplifting them after a bad shot or round.”
The golf team plays both home and away matches; all their home games are played at Lone Pine Country Club. Their biggest rival is Chartiers Valley because they have a similar skill level. Many of the team members have displayed their excitement toward getting to play at the nicest golf courses.
The Trinity Varsity golf team is a growing team here at Trinity. Students can come to any golf match and support the boys and girls on the Varsity team.
