Among the number of shining athletes at Trinity, Senior Myah Agmon falls toward the top of the list. Having played lacrosse for 11 years, she prepares to go to college at Utah State to continue her passion for the sport and for her career.
Agmon is known for her love of and determination in lacrosse. Many of her teammates look up to the fact that she arrives early to practice and leaves late. She practices at home constantly, playing wall ball and other helpful drills.
“She shows up an hour early to everything and practices any chance she can get. She’s really dedicated and I admire that,” said Senior and co-captain Avery Powell.
“I really love lacrosse. I am very excited to continue playing and make a bigger commitment to it,” noted Agmon.
Her dedication to the sport goes a long way. She has been playing since third grade and has not taken a single year off. No matter the challenges thrown her way, whether it be coaching, teammates or other players, Agmon keeps her head up and continues to prove herself every day.
“She is passionate, dedicated, hardworking and relentless. No one is harder on her than she is on herself,” exclaimed Trinity Girls Lacrosse head coach Becky Loulli.
Agmon’s hard work is shown on the field. Her stats prove her positive consistency as she currently leads the team in scoring, racking up numbers in every position on the field. She not only scores multiple goals almost every game, but she also makes it a point to assist her teammates in scoring.
Agmon’s decision to go to Utah State was a mix between their lacrosse team and their aviation program. As she works harder than anyone for her sport, she also just passed her written knowledge test, leading her one step closer to becoming a licensed pilot, something she has been working on for quite some time.
Balancing her two passions is something that she is planning out so that she is able to enjoy and pursue both.
Agmon stated, “I expect it to be difficult. It will need a lot of time management, but I think it’s worth it to be able to continue my passion for lacrosse as well as pursuing my career as a pilot.”
As Agmon prepares for college, she continues working on her performance as a player and as a student. Her future has many opportunities, and she has worked very hard to make that a possibility.
