- What is your position on staff?
I am the Sports Editor and the Co-Editor-in-Chief.
- How long have you been on staff and why did you join?
I’ve been on Staff for three years. I joined because I liked Journalism I and I wanted to continue the classes.
- What makes The Hiller special/different from any other club?
I feel like The Hiller is a family, we are all so close. A lot of us hang out outside of school, we come to each other with our problems and it sets a precedent for others.
- What is your favorite article you have done? Why?
My favorite article is the DC comics comeback because I love comics and I loved talking about the evolution of the branding.
- What was your favorite memory from class?
I have a lot of favorite memories. One that sticks out to me is when Lita and I did a slideshow for the Christmas party. No one liked it.
- What advice would you give to other staff members?
Don’t be afraid to step outside your comfort zone. Journalism is about being uncomfortable and talking to new people. The class is a great growing opportunity and helps with self-improvement.
- What are your future plans?
I am going to Mercyhurst University to major in Communications and probably double major in English.
- How many coffees do you think you’ve had in class while you’ve been on Staff?
Accounting for the days I’ve missed, I have to say at least 400.
- Anything else to add?
I’m excited to graduate, but I will really miss being a part of The Hiller.
