- What is your position on staff?
I am the Co-Editor in Chief and Feature Editor.
- How long have you been on staff and why did you join?
I have been on the Staff for three years. I joined because my freshman year I took Journalism I and I loved it. I could see myself writing articles for the rest of high school, so here we are now!
- What makes The Hiller special/different from any other club?
The Hiller is special because it is a class that prepares you for the outside world with communication skills and you surround yourself with a lovely group of people every day.
- What is your favorite article you have done and why?
My favorite article I’ve done is one of my WWCD articles. I talk about how to be grateful for what you have.
- What was your favorite memory from class?
One of my favorite memories was our trips to the Hiller Cafe when we are not busy!
- What advice would you give to other staff members?
Put your whole heart into all of your articles and have fun; this is supposed to be a fun class!
- What are your future plans?
I am attending Washington and Jefferson College. I am going to be on the Presidents Swimming and Diving team and am double majoring in Childhood Development and Education/English.
- How many red pens do you think Mrs. O’Lare has used for your articles?
Considering how long I’ve been on staff, and how many spelling mistakes I’ve made… I’m going to say five and a half pens.
- Anything else to add?
Thank you Journalism for great high school memories!
