• What is your position on staff?

I am a Staff Writer and a Cartoonist. 

• How long have you been on staff and why did you join?

I have been on staff for one year and I joined because I had Journalism I and I really really liked it. So now I’m here!

• What makes The Hiller special/different from any other club?

I think that this is a very tight community and we all get along very well. Compared to other clubs, this one

is very inviting and I felt at home very quickly when I joined. 

• What is your favorite article you have done? Why? 

My favorite article I’ve written is the Roblox Controversy because I put a lot of effort into it and it came out very nicely. It’s a touchy subject but it’s very interesting to learn about. 

• What was your favorite memory from class?

Going out and getting interviews with other people and going to the Hiller Cafe because it’s not something I would do in a normal classroom setting. It makes my day and it makes my classes go by quicker. 

• What advice would you give to other staff members?

Always stay positive and don’t get stressed about making deadlines. It always ends up working out; everyone on staff is very helpful if you need a hand. 

• What are your future plans?

I’m going to Washington and Jefferson College and do something with art; either art education or art business. Then, I’ll see where the wind takes me!

• How many times do you think Mrs. O’Lare has yelled at John and Blake?

Mrs. O’Lare never yells at anyone because she’s perfect, but they deserve to be yelled at a million times.

I love all of my staff members and I’ve made so many new friends here. Thank you, Mrs. O’Lare!!
