Marvel has been all over the world. The franchise started as comic books then later came out as movies, both brought to life by the late Stan Lee. Marvel comic fans will know that the movies deviate greatly from the books, often to introduce more on-screen action. Prior to the start of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, or MCU, in 2008, Marvel had various series and movies which followed the comic books’ storylines more closely.

The first marvel movie in the MCU was Iron Man.

There are more movies coming out this year as well as new mini series. All new releases this year will be a part of the fourth “phase” of  the MCU.

Marvel can unite audiences of all ages and is one of the most popular franchises in the country.

The late Stan Lee has made a legacy that people will enjoy watching for many years to come. Keep an eye out for the next Marvel release Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which will be released in theaters on May 6.
