About to play, the boys began by rising for the national anthem.

On October 15th, the final goal of the soccer section championships was scored, making the Hillers sectional champions for 2020. The boys instantly rushed together, showing their gratitude for their teammates and coaches and celebrating their win.

This year, the Trinity boys´ soccer team won their first section championship since 1985, defeating Ringgold. They went on to play the first round of playoffs as the fifth seed spot, but unfortunately, they lost 3-2 to Montour by penalty kicks after going into double overtime. Overall, they had an amazing season, with a record of 11-2.

The team is run by Head Coach Ryan Julian, Assistant Coach Andy Sukolsky, and Assistant Coach Scott Armstrong. The team captains who led their team to victory are Jacob Paez, Colby Thomas, and Logan Errett.

Some of the boys have expressed that their greatest team leaders are Jacob Paez and Logan Errett.

Sophomore Zach Thornburg said, ¨Logan and Jacob are always working their hardest and motivating all their teammates.¨

Even though the seniors, Elijah Cincinnati, Colby Thomas, Jacob Paez and Logan Errett, are going to leave a hole in the brotherhood the team has created, there is still much faith in the program to continue these great accomplishments.

The team has a great bond and they continue to motivate each other and push each other to work hard under any circumstance.

The program has always had a great impact on individual athletes, as expressed by Junior Kyle Fetcho who said, ¨Trinity soccer has challenged me physically and mentally, and has developed my character, improving the chances of playing college soccer.¨

Trinity Boys´ Soccer just finished off an amazing season; hopefully, they will continue to bring sectional champion titles, and maybe even championship titles, home to Trinity.
