Blake is a Junior this year, and it is his second year on The Hiller Newspaper; this year, he is the News Editor. He enjoys shooting competition rifle, going to hockey games, and spending time with family and friends. He hopes to make the most of the rest of his high school years.

Pictured above is the hydroponic growing system. The blue tub in the back right is where the fish are held. As they excrete nutrients into the water, it is pumped over and into the rocks to provide nutrients to the plants. The rocks are the same as used in koi ponds, and they also filter the water so it can be pumped back into the aquaculture tank without the need for external filtration, rarely requiring additional water to be added to the system.
