Freshmen
Madylein Amos– “Beetlejuice.” I’ve watched it ever since I was little.
Simon Avant– “Terrifier 2” because it is very gory.
Madi Baird– “Corpse Bride.” The story is pretty sad.
Draven Byrd– “Autumn Leaves.” It’s beautiful.
Trei’vaun Davis– “Frankenweinie” because I like the animation.
Grace Hoyle– “The Black Phone.” The plot is very good and I like horror movies.
Braden Kengor– “Spookley the Square Pumpkin” because I’ve watched it since I was three.
Otto Pickup– “Friday the 13th” because it is very scary and Jason has aura.
Emya Pugh– “The Nightmare Before Christmas” because I like the clay work and it’s a very artistic way of doing a movie.
Adalyn Whipps– The first “Conjuring” because it’s entertaining.
Sophomores
Brody Barkley- “Smile.” It has a good story; a lot of horror movies don’t have a good plot like that.
Elyse Bosnic- The “Twilight” movies because it looks ‘fall.’
Tristan Coney- “Us” because I like the plot.
Ava Cushey- “Fantastic Mr. Fox;” I like how they use puppets and the animation is very good.
Nathan Hopkins- “Casper.” It’s a heartfelt story about a cute little ghost.
Anthony Manfredi- Definitely Rob Zombie’s “Halloween ॥.”
Coen Phasupong- “Hubie Halloween;” my favorite actor, Adam Sandler, is in it.
Garrett Stoy- “Goosebumps” because it’s not too scary.
Amelia Veltri- “Planes, Trains, and Automobiles” because it’s a very funny movie.
Lily Vilga- “Casper.” I used to watch it with my pap all the time. It brings back a lot of memories.
Juniors
Olivia Angelo- Probably “Ghostbusters;” it’s a classic and it’s one of the first Halloween movies I watched.
Henry Bitz- The first “It” because the characters are really good.
Ayvari Chandler- “Spookley the Square Pumpkin” because he’s the odd one out, but he wins in the end.
Elena Fonner- “Smile.” I don’t watch a lot of horror movies, but this was one of the few horror movies I was actually scared of.
Lyla Fortney- “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown,” because it’s so nostalgic.
Sam Johnson- “Beetlejuice” because it’s a classic.
Meloney Micik- “Corpse Bride” because it reminds me of my family.
Jaidyn Patterson- “Corpse Bride.” It shows that everybody doesn’t represent themselves from who they actually are.
John Roupe- Probably “Hubie Halloween” because it’s Adam Sandler.
Brynn Tomey- “Hocus Pocus” because I used to watch it with my sister.
Seniors
Adam Anderson– “Leperchaun” because it is funny.
Samantha Bruno– “Hocus Pocus.” I’d always watch it with my grandma growing up.
John Garica– “The Nightmare Before Christmas” because that’s what I grew up on.
Hailey Jasso– “It: Chapter 2” because I really like the cinematography and the layout of the movie.
Colby Jeffery– I like “Halloween” because Michael Myers is the best and I grew up on them.
Sydney Klick– “Corpse Bride” because the aesthetics are nice and it’s a classic.
Joslyn Lanerdee– I think it’d have to be “The Nightmare Before Christmas” because it’s such a classic movie.
Morgan Layhue– “The Devil Wears Prada.” I like the fashion in it.
Marko Reyes– “Monster House” because it is rated 8.8 and it was great for being an animation.
Jonah Williamson– “Spookley the Square Pumpkin” because I don’t like scary movies.
Teachers
Sra. Banish- The original “Hocus Pocus” because it’s just a tradition. I’ve watched it every year with my daughters.
Mrs. M. Bennett- “When Harry Met Sally.” It’s a rom-com; they’re light and fun.
Mr. Ferrari- My favorite fall movie is “Remember the Titans.”
Herr Good- The episode of “Goosebumps” where Carly Rae puts on a mask and it takes over her entire personality.
Mr. Hilty- “Hocus Pocus” because it is a banger and a classic.
Mr. Powell- The “Halloween” movies; I like to be scared. Nothing better than being scared on a cold fall night.
Mr. Prentice- Good question, obviously “Halloween.”
Ms. Shaw- Fall Hallmark movies; yes, I love the cheesy movies.
Mr. Skroupa- “Halloween” and “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.” I like “Halloween” because it’s an excellent horror movie, and I like “The Great Pumpkin” because it has great acting.
Mr. Teeple- “The Devil’s Rejects;” I’m a big Rob Zombie fan.
