
Trinity High School Senior Rylie Armstrong has taken on the arduous task of representing the graduating Class of 2025 as class president for the past five years. Armstrong has dedicated those years to school fundraisers, informative social media posts and school dances. Her involvement throughout Trinity High School has single-handedly uplifted school spirit to a new level.
Her participation in student council has made her the perfect candidate for this position, which has given Armstrong a busy high school career in the position of presidency.
Armstrong explains, “I wanted to be more involved in the community and have the opportunity to be able to make a difference.”
The class president position houses many opportunities to make a difference. Armstrong has used all of these opportunities to her advantage and has been highly involved in the Hiller community.
Student Council advisors Mrs. Frazee and Mrs. Thornburg led a big part of Armstrong’s journey. They have carved the path for Armstrong and let her creative nature take the lead.
Thornburg has worked closely with Armstrong since freshman year. Student Council is constantly looking for candidates with good qualities to run for president and Armstrong immediately checked all the boxes for Thornburg.
Thornburg declares, “We are looking for someone motivated, organized and most of all a good role model.”
Furthermore, participation in school spirit represents an important part of the high school experience. It is often overlooked who’s behind all the planning and media. Armstrong dedicates much of her time to running the Class of ‘25 Instagram. This page is professional, informational and communicative.
The class president leads all others within their grade. Armstrong debated exploring new options, like running for student body, but ultimately decided to continue her reign as class president.
Armstrong is also a member of the school volleyball team, various clubs and is described as a student who does her work well.
Armstrong will be speaking at graduation, which will be the perfect time to reflect on her five-year experience as the Class of 2025 class president.
