What inspired you to be a teacher?
I have always known that I wanted to be in a career where I could help others. However, my second grade teacher inspired me to become a teacher.
What subjects and grades do you teach?
I am a learning-support teacher, so I co-teach in English and Math classes. I have students in 9th – 12th grade.
How are you adjusting to your new job?
It has been great! Everyone has been so helpful.
What is your favorite part of teaching?
I’d say building relationships with students and teachers and seeing my students grow.
Where did you go to college and what was your major?
I went to W&J College and majored in elementary K-4 and special education K-12.
What is your biggest goal as a teacher?
My goal is to help my students grow in all aspects of life and to make an impact!
What’s your favorite thing about THS so far?
The people! Everyone at Trinity is so supportive and kind.
What advice would you give to students who are looking to pursue education?
Don’t be afraid to make mistakes but learn from them!
