  • What is your position on “The Hiller”?

I am a staff writer.

  • How long have you been on staff and why did you join?

I have been on staff for one year, and I joined because Mrs. O’Lare recommended it to me.

  • What has been your favorite article you’ve written and why?

My favorite article would be “Hogwarts Legacy: New ‘Harry Potter’ or Magical Misfire” because I got to express my personal opinions about “Harry Potter.”

  • What are your plans after graduation?

I plan to go to college and then med school for anesthesiology residency.

  • What will you miss most about “The Hiller”?

I will miss having the resources to write about whatever comes to my mind.

  • What is the most important lesson you have learned from being in journalism?

I have learned how to be a better writer.

  • What is your favorite memory while writing for “The Hiller”?

My favorite memory is our brainstorming sessions when we plan for the next issue.

  • How many red pens do you think Mrs. O’Lare has gone through grading your articles?

Only one because I haven’t been on the staff that long, but if I had been on staff longer, probably five.

  • How has Mrs. O’Lare impacted/inspired you while writing for “The Hiller”?

Mrs. O’Lare has given me confidence about my writing while correcting errors.

  • What is your favorite Trinity lunch meal?

Definitely the Hiller Hoagie because it slaps.

  • Anything you would like to add? Anything you would like to say to the rest of the staff?

Everyone I work with is a great writer and it has been awesome to be on staff this year.
