Student of the Month: May – Courtney Boardley

It is my pleasure to nominate Courtney Boardley for Student of the Month for May. Courtney has a sharp, analytical mind and is dedicated to her work. She is always prepared for class and takes her academic career very seriously. She shows a quick grasp of important, complex issues, and is frequently ready to offer useful, as well as insightful, contributions in class. With Courtney’s drive and determination, she will be notably successful in her future endeavors.

Moreover, she is well organized, eager to learn, and accepts criticism well. Courtney invites constructive criticism and makes changes in her developing learning style to implement the suggestions. She is innovative: willing to try new techniques and expand her repertoire of skills.

Most importantly, Courtney is committed to learning. She has a striking personality: outgoing, friendly and a very good conversationalist. Her many extracurricular activities have only added to her already impressive personality. Her interest in politics is quite apparent (most notable, the conversations that we have) and it is always a pleasure to talk to a young lady about political-related topics.

Courtney is also the president of the National Honor Society for her character is impeccable and she has consistent superior grades. One can clearly see her wide range of creativity, industriousness, and fortitude. She has refined the ability to manage and organize her time and schedule around different activities and a job without having them interfere with school. It is clear to me that this young lady, Miss Courtney L. Boardley, is an exceptional candidate for THS Student of the Month.
