These cookies can be a great treat or a great gift during the holiday season. They also show how sprinkles can be used to decorate cookies in different ways. Depending on the type of sprinkles, they can be baked into the cookies to give them extra flavor and create a nice pattern or use the sprinkles to take pictures of holiday symbols like a star.

One great way to decorate these types of cookies is to half dip them in chocolate. Melt any type of flavored or colored chocolate in a bowl and twist the cookie in it, making an awesome design on the cookies.

A third great cookie is the beloved sugar cookie. They get decorated as snowmen or little gingerbread men. No matter what they have as a design, they are always very delicious and this recipe shows one of the best ways to make them even more delectable than they already are.

These cookies are more often than not going to be frosted with friends or family. Some tricks to make the process easier are to use thicker icing in piping bags to be able to get fine lines and be more in control of where the icing goes on the cookies. It is also beneficial to leave iced cookies out overnight so that the icing can dry and it won’t get messed up.

Making cookies and decorating them is a great activity for the holidays and fun for everyone to do. These tips and tricks can give a new light to decorating and make it easier in the long run. Happy holidays and enjoy some of these recipes!
