Señor Sanvicente poses for a picture on his last day at Trinity.

On November 22, a send-off party was held for Señor Sanvicente who left Trinity to teach in the Jeannette School District in order to have a job closer to home.

Sanvicente has been teaching for a total of 19 years, spending five of them at Trinity. During his time in the district, he taught students in Spanish Two and Four.

Through his time here, Sanvicente learned from Mr. Polansky how to always bring the best to everything. Herr McLaughlin taught him how to be a good friend. He learned how to laugh at himself and how to enjoy the little things in life through Mr. Hilty, Mr. Komula and Mr. Modrak.

“And, I learned how to be a good colleague through Señora Harrington,” said Sanvicente.

His favorite part of teaching at Trinity has been the students, coaching, breakfast bagel and everybody who works behind the scenes.

“They are all wonderful people. I am grateful for everything and am happy to have been a part of this school,” Sanvicente stated.

Though his journey at Trinity has come to its end, another one is just about to begin. Good luck at Jeannette, Señor!
