Q: Did you like art in high school? Why or why not?

A:Yes, because it’s the only thing I was good at.

Q: What was your major in college and why?

A: Illustration because I loved the way that art tells a story.

Q: What was your past experience with art?

I was a freelance illustrator for a sports magazine.

Q: Is art your passion? Why or why not?

A: It is one of my passions because I love being creative with my hands. My other passions are hunting and fishing.

Q: Do you have any past teaching experience? If so, what are they?

A: I taught at Trinity South and West for six years as an art teacher.

Q: Did you want to be an art teacher? Why or why not?

A: Yes, I started off being an illustrator but then I missed people, and I liked working with kids and teens.

Q: Why did you choose Trinity?

A: I chose Trinity because it was local and it always had a good reputation so I was comfortable coming here.

Q: What classes do you teach?

A: I teach Design 1 and 2; Photo 1, 2, and 3; and Drawing 1 and 2.

Q; What is your favorite class to teach?

A: Any of the drawing classes because I don’t have to deal with technology.
