From the beginning of their season to the end, the girls tennis team practiced and prepared for each game. This year, their hard work paid off when they made it to sectionals.

The girls tennis team ended their season, but they are already preparing for next year.

Senior captain Caitlin Johnson’s journey playing on Trinity’s tennis team is coming to an end.

Johnson said,“my favorite memory on the tennis team is going to sectionals this year, because we got to eat food and the whole team hung out.”

Johnson also said, “I think people should try tennis because it is fun, easy, there is team spirit, and the coaches try to help you correct what you are doing wrong.”

Mrs. Frazee has many good memories from coaching, but her favorite is, “stopping for ice cream after an away match for both JV and Varsity.”

Girls tennis is very competitive and they play against some tough schools like Mt. Lebanon. Although they made it to sectionals this year, the coaches say they can improve.

“The girls can practice more outside of the season. Some drills we serve, for hand and back hand. We do these drills to gain lots of practice for games,” commented coach Stoner.

Johnson also stated, “I think people should try tennis because it is fun, easy, there is team spirit, and the coaches try to help you correct what you are doing wrong.”

Even though Trinity’s girls tennis team season may have ended, they had fun and can’t wait until next years season so they can show how much they improved.
