Do you have any makeup that you no longer want or use? Does it just fill space in your makeup collection? Then donate it to help out Trinity’s Environmental Club in the first annual Makeup Drive!

Donations can be in the form of any makeup products; brushes, eyeshadow palettes, and other products. All brushes will be cleaned and sent to Wands for Wildlife, an organization that cleans and takes care of injured animals. All unsalvageable products will be cleared from their containers, and the containers (metal or plastic only) will be recycled. Any makeup that can be salvaged will be cleaned and sent to women’s shelters.

Senior Riley Moore, president of the Environmental club, chose to do a makeup drive because her mom introduced to  an online campaign for Wands for Wildlife, and she wanted to find a way to get donations to their organization.

“The biggest benefit of an event like this is giving nice quality makeup to people that can’t afford it. Makeup is something that helps some people feel good about themselves, so it’s nice to be able to give that to someone,” says Senior Environmental Club member, Corie Miller.

All donations can be dropped off in Room 217 (Mrs. Cotton) or given to an Environmental club member by January 2.
